The honor guard for Zowie was gathered and the exit ramp started to lower for the Queen’s and the few royal children assembled on the landing pad. What would be first noticed of the people would be the full body armor and helmets. They were covered head to toe in armor but it wasn’t hard to tell by the sculpted armor they were all women. Their movements were as one. As they exited they would then see two more come off dressed more formally. That would be Galax and Quantum. The queens and children that were present would notice that the honor guard didn’t carry rifles but all had swords. The man and woman had an odd feel to them but nothing alarming.

Quantum followed along with the honor guard as they would wait for Zowie. She was ultimately in command and Quantum was her second. She didn’t smile she kept her eyes searching but from all appearances she was looking straight ahead. She wasn’t worried about Zowie but about the warriors who had made the trip. They had been cooped up for a week or two and while the hanger was big enough for Blade Ball it was always exciting to be on a new planet. She would ask to ensure that the crew could enjoy some shore leave.
“SO’TA KNE’LA!”
Quantum’s voice rang out loud and high. The honor guard took a knee with hands resting lightly on weapons as Quantum released Galax’s arm to take her position on the left to allow Galax to take his on the right. She took a knee and placed her hand lightly on her sword as she waited for Max and Zowie.

The queen of Neptune glanced at the clock on the wall. Her lips turned downward as she was late to meet the delegation. Her dress was picked up as she was moved with fluid speed. She came up with the last of Neo Queen Serenity's lesson. It was interesting to have such a delegation visit them.
She looked over as she saw her long time friend, Setsuna, walk up as well. She tilted her head as the woman had the same look on her face as hers. She wanted to hear Setsuna's thoughts on all of this. She squared her shoulders as she watched the honor guide walk down. A shiver went up her spine as she waited to see what happened.

Galax smiled as he sat back in his seat. He smiled as she she made herself even more presentable. It was nice that she appreciated all of his information. He tugged at his jacket to allow it to sit nicely on his chest.
He ran his hands down her back as soon as she kissed him. He delighted in the affects as he kissed her right back. "That was sweet and unexpected. Though, we can always slip off should things go well for another private moment." He gave her a little wink. "30 minutes of behavior is longer than I was expecting."
He felt the ship land as he unfastened his seatbelt. He ran his hands through his hair as he took his place. His footsteps fell in line with Quantum as they followed the honor guard. He took his place in line as his eyes looked at the door, waiting for Zowie to make her appearance.

Zowie took in a deep breath as she smiled over to Max. She knew that it was time to be the representative of her people and parents. She rose in a single motion as she bit the inside of her lip. Her eyes closed as she repeated her greeting over and over again.
She heard Quantum's shout as it was her signal to present herself. Butterflies flew in her stomach as she tried to fight off the nerves she was feeling. She looked at Max as she held out her hand. "It is time. Let us go meet the people of Sol."
She dusted her dress as she adjusted her shoulder shawl. She walked with steady footfalls as she exited the ship. Her eyes fell on the delegation of woman, all staring at her. She stopped a few feet from the queens. She bowed softly as was tradition here. A smile graced her face as she straightened. She stepped to the side as one of the blades brought forth a cornucopia of fruits.
"Thank you, honored Neo Queen Serenity and queens of sol. I present you with various fruits from our home. Please enjoy."
Her greeting was short and sweet. It felt awkward as all first encounters were. She hoped that it would be enough for these people.

Max followed the appropriate distance behind Zowie as she exited the ship. The first thing that struck him was the delegation from Sol. They didn’t look like much but looks could be deceiving and these women represented their system. He was towering behind Zowie and as she stopped so did he. He took his cue from her. She bowed as did he but they would definitely be able to tell by his demeanor he was there to protect Zowie. His ceremonial uniform looked as if it might rip from his sheer size but it was safe from exposing him. He stepped to Zowie’s right as was proper for a man in his culture. The right of a woman signified she was the one who gave orders. That was why even people who were left handed learned to use a sword with their right hand. It also denoted power and the gift the goddess had given them. He waited for the Blade to bring the fruits from Lanix Adoth. He did enjoy the fruit as some of it was actually very good. He would not speak unless spoke. To or given an order by Zowie. He was a shadow today and here for Zowie. The Blade presented the gift and then receded to the ship from where she had come from and as she did she poked Max playfully. He didn’t alter facial expression. That was Tan’dra. She had swept his legs during the last Blade Ball game. He would ask though if they minded setting up a court around the ship for relaxation. He leaned down to whisper to Zowie.
“Priestess, your Blades have had a long trip. May they be dismissed with your and the Golden Goddess’ blessing to unwind with some Blade Ball as long as our hosts don’t mind them playing?”

Post by Hayate Tenoh on May 19, 2020 1:18:08 GMT -6
Having answered the summons by Queen Uranus and Queen Neptune in order to avoid a verbal thrashing that would make the stern rebuke William had received for buzzing the castle's air traffic control tower look like a tropical breeze in comparison, Hayate stood with her parents to observe the arrival of the delegation from a place she had never heard of before. Judging from the postures and facial expressions of the queens, the arrival of the delegation from parts unknown was a new experience for them as well. Hayate was not sure how to react to their uncertainty, so she did her best to keep a straight face as the delegation disembarked. What an impressive delegation it was... among the honor guard was a mound of muscle with blond hair and he looked like he could break any of the queens or princesses over his knee with the same effort it took Hayate to breathe.
As the eldest Tenoh and the sole Tenoh princess, Hayate had been tasked with attending the gathering. She was not exactly thrilled to be here, but her mothers had pressed on her the need for her to be the responsible Tenoh at such a crucial moment in history. They had made certain that William was far, far away where he could not ruin the dignified mood with an immature prank pulled on the wrong dignitary or another immature stunt like the one he had pulled on arrival to the palace.
Hayate was starting to think that her brother had deliberately pulled the stunt to make sure that he would be excluded from the gathering. If that was indeed the case, William was smarter than he looked... or acted. It was true that William could be rather obnoxious and far less dignified than a prince should behave, but there was more to him than just reckless flying and chasing women. Deep down inside William wanted a purpose in life greater than just being a backup plan for the Tenoh succession, but finding that purpose was no easy task for him. Before William could even begin to find his purpose, he had to make peace with his origins as a test tube baby and find something that would give him a reason to accept who and what he was.
Again, that was easier said than done for the younger Tenoh, who felt like he was only kept around as a means of ensuring the Tenoh succession and would be replaced as soon as Queen Neptune could make an heir more willing to conform to her ideals of how a royal child should behave.

Liling looked at her sister with a sideways glance. There was something that she was not telling her. She let it go. There was no use trying to have her spill it all out. It made her rather happy that she arrived early.
She waved at the back of her sister while her mother called. She was not surprised that she was left behind. She shrugged her shoulders as she went back into the kitchens. She doubted her mother noticed that she was standing there. With a sigh, she would go back to do her job.
