Setsuna waited as he talked about the symbol she had drawn. He was mostly correct with the meaning. It amused her that he went straight to the negative side with being cursed. His duty could be looked at in such a fashion. It was not surprising leading more troops into battle, especially the ones who are as young as the children. Like so many others, he was paying the price for her mistake.
"You are correct. An unending task will be given to you. The dream you had shows what is to come. I probablely had something to do with that. The side effect of witnessing parts of my powers. In a few weeks, it should stop giving such dreams."
She left out the rest as his path was not finished. Her sister has taken a great interest in him. She had often push aside the feeling in which there was something more happening in this man's life. She felt she was correct. The situation must be dire if the Gathering was indeed coming.
"There is much that you don't know about me. For the Tabulan, it stems from my native tongue. It helps that they honor The Shepherdess and her consort. They tend to be wise beyond other cultures years. Think of it this way, your soul has currently been wondering when it is called home you will be tasked something important. Unfortunately. I can not give more details as to your future is still being written."
Her eyes glanced out over the ocean. What she feared would be coming to pass soon enough. Things were lining up for Life and Death to battle against an enemy in which the whole universe has never seen the likes of.

Jacob listened to her carefully and about the explanation of his dreams. That made the most sense and since he had no others it was the right answer.
“Just like normal life. Only there I really can’t get away. It’s rather interesting that you know more than you let on about things. I’ll have to see if a few more days like this would make for good conversation.”
He rose and to her he probably looked odd with only one arm. He didn’t have to remove his prosthesis for water he just chose to remove it.
“You’re history is something I’d like to hear more about. You want to get a soak in the water instead of wading?”
She actually knew a lot and he wouldn’t mind asking her more about it. It seemed his life brought him together with her to ensure he learned his final lesson.

Setsuna glanced back up at him as he spoke of normal life. She gave a light snort as it was true. They both had duties to which they could never run from. Well, he could try though her sister would find him. Her legs curled up as she rested her chin on her knees. She wiped the image of the symbols from the sand as the sensation that she should leave came upon her.
"My knowing is a gift and a curse at times. I have been trying to get you to realize that I disapprove of some things for a reason. We are both see and hear what is needed as we take different approaches. It has worked for now."
She leaned back a little as he rose from the sand. She sighed as it seemed that she might have over stayed her welcome. It was a surprise that he wanted to spend more time together. It was strange as the night in her drunken state must have done something to cause this.
She gave a shrug as she rose, "A swim sounds lovely. As for my history, there is much that most don't know. Books only told you so much as I left a lot of it to the sands of time. You might have to get me drunk enough to let a secret or two slide."
She teased him with a wink of her eye as she dusted off the sand. She smiled as jogged into the water. The warm ocean water hit her legs as she dived underneath. It was refreshing as it washed the worry and serious conversation from her mind.
