~Et Exterminates Aetarnam~
Character Name: Shizuka Jaeger
Planet Affiliation: Was born on Venus, but considers Mars her home.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Disposition: Friendly, Energetic
<-- Civilian Information -->
Name: Shizuka Jaeger
Name meaning: Shizuka is Japanese for "Quiet." Jaeger is German for "Hunter."
Age: 18
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 140 lbs.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Purple
Birthday: August 8th
Zodiac: Leo
Blood type: B
Strengths:
Assertive- Shizuka is no wallflower. She knows what she wants and gives her all when pursuing it. Whether it is a guy, girl, or the completion of a mission, Shizuka will keep going until she attains her goal.
Energetic- Shizuka has energy to spare. She pursues sports, hobbies, and missions with equal enthusiasm. Some people wonder when Shizuka ever stops to sleep.
Friendly- One would suspect that Shizuka's demeanor is a sour one due to her harsh childhood. On the contrary, Shizuka is friendly to anyone who treats her with common courtesy.
Weaknesses:
Anti-Authoritarian- Shizuka has some unresolved authority issues. In the past, authority figures who should have helped her either chose not to act or deliberately harmed her. As a result, she is slow to trust them. Among the few exceptions are Jacob Marconi, Setsuna Meioh, and Annabelle Schmidt.
Hyperactive- Shizuka has great reserves of energy. She usually channels it into physical activity, but sometimes she has trouble sitting still or focusing on a conversation. This is not helped whenever she is on a caffeine rush.
Insomniac- Because she had to be ever watchful while living alone on the streets, Shizuka has trouble sleeping. It is hard for her to go to sleep and easy for her to wake up.
Favorite Food: Shizuka has a liking for pepperoni pizza, hamburgers, and other junk food. Since she was a street kid, she can eat almost anything if push comes to shove. She is also fond of soda and coffee and may be addicted to those beverages.
Least Favorite Food: Nothing.
Hobbies: Watching action movies, reading tabloids from different planets, drinking coffee, running track, collecting weapons (swords are a favorite).
Favorite Color: Purple.
Phobia: Fear of needles.
<-- Personality →
Shizuka is a friendly sort who prefers to live and let live. Provided they treat her with respect, she can get along with just about anyone.
However, she is slow to trust authority figures. Pulling rank will only get one so far with Shizuka. She will follow orders, but she respects the title rather than the person.
<-- Appearance -->
Shizuka has long purple hair and blue eyes. She is tall and shapely with an emphasis on her chest and legs. She has a few scars left over from her underground fighting days, but they are barely visible.
Shizuka is fond of the color purple. Whenever she is not on assignment, she can be found wearing at least one article of purple clothing. She also likes boots and can be found wearing a black pair.
<-- Formal Training -->
Skills:
1. Unarmed Combat- Shizuka can fight even without a weapon. She knows a few martial arts but has an affinity for judo. She prefers judo since it allows her to use an opponent's momentum against them.
2. Blending In- Shizuka knows how to blend in with a crowd. A skill left over from her street days, she can blend in with reasonable success by dressing in neutral colors and behaving normally. She is typically beneath notice and may overhear things on the streets.
3. Scavenging- One man's trash is another man's treasure. Shizuka knows this from experience. She has scavenged many a meal from behind many a Martian restaurant. In addition to food, she has also found other items, including a Sailor Mars doll that she has an odd attachment to.
4. Connections- Shizuka has friends all over Mars in high and low places. She can get favors like a reservation at a particular restaurant, priority on repairs for weapons, or a discount on items at certain shops.
Weapons Training:
1. Knives- Although she can fight bare-handed, Shizuka knows how to use knives. She favors them since they do not require much strength in order to inflict a critical wound. They are also easily concealed.
2. Pistols- Shizuka is trained to use pistols. While she is not an expert marksman, she can use them with reasonable competence.
3. Submachine Guns- Submachine guns are another weapon that Shizuka can use. Her adopted father taught her how to use them in case she ever was in a situation where knives and pistols would not suffice.

Occupation: Et Exterminates Aeternum, Scarlet Aquila Fighter (Former occupation)
Job Title: Soldier
Position: Fighter
History: Shizuka is fairly new to the organization. They saved her life after Death Corps attempted to kill her for refusing to enlist. In return, she enlisted to get revenge and to (hopefully) turn her fighting skills towards constructive ends.
<-- Background →
Shizuka was born on Venus to a Venusian mother and a Martian father. She was only eight years old when her mother Cassandra died from a heart attack and left her alone on Venus. All that was left to remember her mother by was a plush doll of Sailor Venus, one that Shizuka has kept to the present day. Shizuka remembered her mother's cryptic last words, ones that predicted her becoming a great fighter in a galaxy-spanning war. Unwilling to remain on a planet that had nothing to offer, Shizuka hitched a ride to Mars.
She soon regretted the choice. Finding herself ostracized by the tradition-bound Martians, Shizuka had little choice but to live on the streets with others like her. She made her way by scavenging goods to sell and by scavenging for food, dodging the Martian police and roving gangs of wealthy Martian youths who derived amusement from beating up the less fortunate. It was after a run-in with one such gang that a battered Shizuka heard of an underground fighting circuit called Scarlet Aquila where she could be trained to fight and make money by doing so. When she turned twelve, she sought out the elusive group and was admitted to training after waiting outside their headquarters for three days and nights.
She was admitted to the Aquila's ludus, a school where she and other aspirants were trained in unarmed combat. Shizuka became a rising star of the institute as she worked her way up from jobber to mid-card fighter in four years. The pay improved, as did the venues she fought in. Shizuka was nicknamed "Violet Lightning" for the way her purple hair flashed under lights as she used her speed to wear down opponents with rapid strikes. It was after a successful mid-card bout that she was approached by a trio who did not like their fighter losing to her.
Shizuka fended off the three-man gang in the alley behind the venue but was forced to run for her life when they came after her with five additional friends the same night. She was cornered in a back alley when a mysterious man came to her rescue by killing all eight of them with deft usage of a knife. She could not see much of her benefactor beyond blue eyes and a glistening knife. He told her to leave and that he would handle the cleanup... he also claimed that he would be watching her.
The next day she heard through the grapevine that eight people had gone missing. No one really seemed upset... death and disappearance were looming threats for those who lived on the streets. Shizuka wondered who her savior was, but she was disinclined to find out. She was also worried that seeking him out could make her his next victim. A quick conversation with some of her fellow street denizens revealed rumors that a lone vigilante was "cleaning the streets" of the criminal element.
Shizuka did not like that phrase... that was the same phrase the wealthy teenagers used to justify beating her up. She recalled the man's statement that he would be watching her. What did that mean? Why would someone be watching her? Shizuka had no idea.
Two years later she was among Scarlet Aquila's top five fighters. Shizuka was as close to celebrity as she could get without joining a legitimate fighting circuit, but that route was blocked to "half-breeds" like her. She was mildly upset by that, but she did not dwell on it that much. She could now buy meals instead of scavenging them. That was always a plus.
Shizuka's life changed one day when she was approached by a man in black who claimed to be representing something called the Death Corps. He approached her and offered her a place in the Corps. As if trying to appeal to her base instincts, he emphasized that joining would give a chance to get revenge on the Martians who looked down on her for her mixed heritage. Shizuka refused to be recruited and the man promised that she would regret it.
A week later, the sinister promise appeared to come true. Word filtered of an attack that killed the queens of each planet. Scarcely a day later the Death Corps began liquidating anyone they could not buy or intimidate, including some Scarlet Aquila fighters who also did not join Death Corps. Shizuka barely escaped their raid on Scarlet Aquila's training grounds and ran for her life through the back alleys, fighting off isolated Death Corps members until her back was literally against a wall.
She was facing down a firing squad when the mysterious man from before helped her again, this time utilizing hand grenades and a submachine gun. This time she got a good look at his face. He was a muscular man who wore a scarlet beret and had an unpleasant diagonal scar on his face. He killed the firing squad and their leader, then extended a hand to her.
He introduced himself as Kurt Jaeger and explained that he was part of a secret group dedicated to opposing Death Corps and their leader. He could take her to safety, but in return she would have to seriously consider joining the group he was part of. Hearing footsteps and shouting along with intermittent gunfire, Shizuka did not need much convincing. She agreed and the pair raced to safety outside the city. The pair was picked up by a ship and taken to a remote reach of space where she met a woman named Annabelle Schmidt.
Glad to be away from Mars and out of danger, Shizuka decided to join the organization that had saved her life. She was not a towering intellect or charismatic person. Fighting was her primary skill set, so she decided to use it for something other than earning money. Kurt expanded that skill set to include armed combat with pistols and submachine guns, both easily concealable types of weapons.
Once she finished training, Kurt offered to officially adopt her to give her some legal standing and a family. She accepted and took the name Shizuka Jaeger. Now she works with Et Exterminates Aeternum to weaken and eventually destroy the Death Corps.
