Routine Cleaning (Tag Alex, Open)

"All right Mizuki. I'm ready to go when you are." Alex said to Mizuki while putting away the last weapon she cleaned.
Some would say that Alex gave undue deference to Mizuki. Some would say that Mizuki did nothing to earn leadership over the royal children except be born into the Tsukino family. Some even claimed that Alex was too dumb to think for herself and would follow anyone who acted like they were in charge. The brunette particularly resented that last one.
Maybe the allegations were true. Maybe they were not. Maybe someone had too much time on their hands.
Alex did not care. In their precarious situation, the royal children would do well to set aside their differences and present a united front against the enemy. Presenting a united front did not mean that everything had to be rainbows and sunshine. It meant following Mizuki and keeping internal conflict to a minimum, or at least keeping any conflict confined to Dark Echoes.
Alex grabbed her tac gear and her LMG. She made sure to grab mostly stun belts for her weapon, also taking two live belts in the unlikely event they came under enemy attack during the evaluation. She was ready whenever Mizuki was. Hopefully the new guy was fast on his feet.
