She despises being told what to do which causes her to do the complete opposite despite any consequences.
There is a side to her that few people ever get to see, especially since the death of her mothers. She has a creative side that she uses to express feelings that she does not want others to know. She cares deeply about what happens to her family and friends, though she will never admit to it out loud. She will show it by being even more sarcastic, even if her eyes say something different. She is very intelligent, much like her mother. She tends to hide it with her rebellious nature and sarcasm.

She has pale pink lips with pencil thin eyebrows. She wears a dash of makeup when she can though it is hard with the military lifestyle. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck of a heart with a droplet coming down and three upside hearts below tearing up, while getting larger. A pair of fairy wings come out from the larger heart. She had has a few sets of earrings that go up her earlobe.
She normally dress in combat boots, cargo pants, and shirt. She has a belt that she carries her pistol with her at all times. She is rarely out of uniform since the first week of PT. The few times that she is able to dress down, she wears jeans and form fitting t-shirts with the occasional dress thrown in.. She has a few skirts, blouses, and corsets that are steampunk in fashion.

Transformation: Neri calls out her transformation as she tosses her pen is tossed into the air. A wave of water washes over her, disappearing her from view. When the wave subsides, she appears as Sailor Neptune.
Appearance: Neri is dressed in a white body suit that is lined with light body armor with white shoulder pauldrons in the shape of ringlets. She has a pair of white gloves that end mid forearm with teal ringlets. She has a teal sailor collar that matches her pleated skirt. The skirt is trimmed with white ringlets that protect her hips. She has a two inch heeled shoes that cross over the top of her feet, much like a ballerina, ending mid calf.
Attacks:
Tsunami: Neri calls out this attack as her hands are held high above her. A high wave of water forms from the ball of energy that is forming in her hands. It flows out as it gains height. Once it stands 15 feet high, it will surge forward knocking everything in its path back 20 feet. Wood and other materials are smashed into small bits.
Crushing Depths: A small target area that is no larger than five feet, a column of water will emerge above their heads. Neri will call out the attack as it splashes with the force equal to that of the deepest parts of the ocean.

Neri was born much like the Tenoh siblings with science. Michiru carried her to term after being fertilized with the genes from her wife, Haruka. She grew up in a loving household, not wanting for much. Michiru had taught her how to play violin and piano. She took to the water much like her mother did when she was younger.
She had tutors that taught her as she grew up; there was little challenge in public or private schools. Her mother was surprised by how gifted Neri was when she was being taught French as well as how interested she was. Her mother brought in different language tutors everytime Neri master a new one. Michiru kept her daughter challenge intellectually.
This push ended up sending Neri off the deep end. It started slowly at first as she picked up the guitar, turning from classical into more hard rock. Her tutors noticed that she was becoming less diligent in her studies while she focused on writing songs versus doing her homework. She all but stopped learning a new language about every nine months.
Michiru started to back off however it was too little too late. Neri started to break some of the ground rules that where put in place when she was around 11. She would often stay out late, ditch the security that were put on her, and all together stopped caring about her studies. Haruka and Michiru came down hard on her which only caused a great rift between them. Neri wanted nothing to do with the family as she started to dress in whatever fashion she wanted, mainly steampunk, even got a tattoo on the back of her neck. Neri got involved with a group of friends sent her down an even darker path as she tagged various building across the kingdom with graffiti.
It was the final straw when Neri was arrested for shoplifting when she was 13. Michiru had enough of the rebellious nature. Neri and Michiru had a huge fight right before the celebration of Neo Queen Serenity and her daughter. Michiru had her daughter on house arrest to prevent any more calls from the police. Neri was not able to go anywhere without two people escorting at minimum. She put a tracker on her daughter in case she ditched her escorts. She forced her daughter to go to the celebration even though they were not on speaking terms.
It was the day that Neri’s life turned upside down. She watched as Death Phantom cut down every member of the royal court with the exception of one. She screamed as she was teleported away from the scene. A gun was forced into her hands as she shot everything and anything that moved toward them. She was in a blind rage as the last spoken words to her mother was how much she wanted her mother dead.
She watched as Setsuna left them in the hands of a tyrant. It caused a deep, seething hatred of the woman who was responsible for this tragedy. Military training started before she was even allowed to grieve for the loss of her mothers. She pushed back against what the captain was trying to achieve. Anything he asked the children to do, she would do the opposite. It would often leave her very cold, hungry, and exhausted. She stubborn nature would not have it any other way. She pushed back against the captain quite often, determined not to let him break her.
During one of the early missions, the captain held her back, afraid of what might happen if she refused to follow an order. The team was in the weeds as they were taking heavy hits. She watched and listened closely to the enemy troops. She surprised the captain as she suddenly barked out formations for each to follow. She was able to lead the team back to the ship.
After that, he decided to see what would happen should she take on more responsibility. She excelled as a secondary leader, gaining the respect of him as well as Mizuki. She helped led each of the children through drills. She realized that she was growing closer to Mizuki as they planned out training simulations. It was nice to have someone else to share her hatred of the Ice Queen Setsuna. She would never admit it, she had developed a bit of a crush of the Moon princess. She would occasionally play a guitar with Chi, cheering up the soft hearted girl. It is a rare act of kindness.
She has recently shown promise with helping communicate with various worlds. Her gift at languages has proved useful with negotiating supplies and weapons. She has also been able to decipher messages about the movements of the enemy. She is mainly in charge of keeping an eye on the movements of the enemy.
