Max didn’t say anything as he listened to her. She didn’t seem in any state to be deceptive but appearances could be deceiving. He thought back to Quantum’s lesson of far’aa beast. It appeared weak to lure prey in and once close enough it struck with a single bite. The prey would leave but the beast would follow. The bite was poisonous and it wasn’t secreted by the body but from the rotted meat and flesh of the many creatures it had eaten before it. He still though didn’t like the fact that strays seemed to appear on their farm. He just nodded at her answers as he lifted her from the ground.

“We should take her to the house. Get her out of this forest and see that she isn’t dehydrated.”

He looked at Zowie as he waited for her to lead the way.

Zowie nodded her head in agreement. She stood up as she grabbed her basket full of herbs and flowers. She would be able to finish picking what was needed at a later time. The attention was getting Misty some food and rest.

"It should not take us long to get home. I think there is some leftovers you can have. You can have a nice hot bath. There might be some cloths that will fit you, Misty."

She ran down the list of things that could help revive this girl. She guessed that it must have been an ordeal from where she had come from.

"Where were you born? I am sure your family is looking for you. I want to see if we can contact them."

As Misty let herself be picked up by Max, that Zowie girl was asking her questions.She really wasn't sure how much information she should reveal about herself.


She thought to herself about how much info she has in her mind. Her Soul, like the rest of her Galactic Guardian Friends and Silver Millennium Brother's Reincarnation were Thousands of years old. Her current body of this life was about 1,000 years old or so. Her family has long since Perished  1,000 or so years before the Death Phantom came back and took over Earth. By the time Death Phantom took over the Earth, her, Ashley Gary, and the other Galactic Guardians left Earth and went into the Spica Star System where they settled and allied themselves with Neo Queen Serenity I and her Senshi.  Only her, as Princess Kasumi, Neo Queen Solaria, Princess Hikari, Princess Malinda, Princess Serena, and Princess Airisu along with the Solaris Twins Neo Princess Solaria named after her Mother, and Neo Princess Kasumi, named after her Godmother were chosen to take the Solaris Space Colony out for exploration along with about 900 other Solaran Residents that would have critical roles in the operations of the Solaris Space Station went along.


That left King Shigeru, Princess Saika, Princess Imite, Princess Nanako and Princess Nozomi on Solara in the Spica Star System to rule over and protect the Neo Solaris Kingdom on Solara and the citizens that stayed behind. With Princess Hikari, the Guardian of Space and Keeper of the Space Gate on board the Solaris Space Station, no one could enter or leave the Spica Star System without the aid of her Pearl Star Staff. When Death Phantom and his Death Corps Attacked the Solaris Space Colony, Princess Hikari used her Pearl Star Staff to escape the explosion of the Colony after the Escape Ship was Deployed remotely to her Gate of Space where she could survey the Galaxy and Universe in Private. Her Mentor Sailor Pluto had her Duties at the Gate of Time while she had her duties at the Gate of Space. Misty had no idea what to do, Zowie and Max didn't seem threatening, but that could just be designed to lull her into a false sense of security. She pomdered and she pondered what to say. These two just saved her life and didn't seem threatening. She still wasn't sure. As she stopped her Inner Thoughts, she decided to ere on the side of caution and not reveal everything about herself.

She turned toward Zowie as she smiled at her, "Zowie-San I have a lot to tell you, but I think it would be better to wait until we're at a place where we could sit and talk. Since I just met you two, I can't quite completely trust you yet. Yes you saved my life, but after everything I have been through, I'm not so sure how much I can reveal to you two about myself. There are certain aspects of my life that I don't really want to reveal to you just yet."

Zowie frowned at the words. She had just asked a simple question, though it would seem as if this woman was running from someone or something. It might have been what was just chasing Misty before she found them. Still, she felt like something was off as she lead them down the path. Trust was something that was earned, yes, but a name and where you are from was something everyone had. Annabelle and Andrew, at least, gave a little more than a brush off. They are the least trusting people she knew.

She paused in the path as she looked up Max and Misty. A shudder ran down her spine as the middle of her forehead burned. She blinked a few times to clear the tears from her eyes. She rubbed her head as she sighed, unsure of what that all meant. There would be plenty of time to figure all of that out later.

Her steps were sure as she started down the path again. "We should be at the main house soon enough. Besides there are hardly anyone else around here for miles. Uncle Galax likes it that way."

Max didn't like the thoughts that someone or something could possible be pursuing this woman and that meant bringing trouble directly to their doorstep. It was nearly as bad as when they first accepted both Annabelle and Andrew to their farm. He sighed and nearly was going to put her down but Zowie would give him a dirty look and then they would argue. When she paused in the path he looked at her and he went tense. After a moment she continued on and he relaxed, slightly.

"Everything ok?"

She was telling the new one about her uncle. He wasn't so sure that Galax would like this but he kept his mouth shut. He was just a hand on the farm who lived with them and did the harder chores. He had grown used to the labor but he felt so useless. The work on this farm was simple and easy. It wasn't a challenge. It was just a very good hiding spot.

"Yes we enjoy our privacy. The peace and quiet lets us know the peace that other may not know. We don't cause trouble, we don't draw attention to ourselves, and that is the way we like it."

As Misty continued to be carried by Max, and listened to Zowie at the same time. She sighed as she addressed both of them, "I have no idea how I ended up here or what I thought was following me when I arrived here. Although, it seems to have stopped because I don't have the foreboding feeling of someone or something following me anymore. As for this privacy you mention, it would be nice for me to be able to relax when we get to the main house.

Zowie kept her pace as she walked beside Max and the new woman. There was a sense of relief that no one was currently following this woman. What if whatever it was showed up again? What if this peace that they have was suddenly ripped apart? Could their farm sustain an attack by an outside force? Was this way of life about to end?

She glanced at Max's hard muscular body as an ache in her heart formed. Her steps slowed as she was unsure if he would be able to completely save the farm along with the others. She would be useless in an attack of any nature. She valued peace than a chance to draw weapons. Could she fight if she had to? There were no skills that she had to help.

Her steps stopped as lights filled her vision. A gasp left her throat as she fell to her knees. A pounding started in her head as her knuckles rubbed her temples. Her heart felt like it was on fire as doubled over. Something strange was happening, she just didn't know what.

Max wasn’t rude about but he placed the woman he was carrying in her feet very swiftly and moved to Zowie without comment. He steadied her and looked at her and waited for her to catch her breath. Once he was sure she had caught it the concern on his face melted away and was replaced by him picking Zowie up.

“You...can ride on my back if you can’t walk. Although if you don’t want to ride on my back and can’t then you can wait here and I’ll be back.”

He scooted back toward Misty and took a squat for her to climb on. Once she was on he started to walk back toward the barn. He was going to make Andrew tend her since he would be in the south field starting early.

“Zowie were almost home. Just take it easy.”
