Natsumi had spent hours cleaning her place up, trying to make it as tidy as possible. She needed everything to be perfect, because today - SHE was going to be visiting lil Natsumi....and she wanted nothing to discourage the lovely girl from staying. Natsumi had always thought she could devote herself to just aiding the universe, but like so other senshi before her, she had found out the hard way, love had a way of grabbing you, even if you didn't intend it to...
And Neri owned Natsumi's heart now. Even now...she stood there...imaging her love's face...and imagining kissing it and running her hands through the girl's lovely sweet hair...holding her beautiful warm body next to hers.....as their eyes met and made love, fire and passion running through their hearts like lava.
She stopped short when she realised she was French kissing a pillow..and quickly went back to work...blushing furiously.

Neri sighed as she twirled in front of the mirror again. She dusted down her shirt as wrinkles seem to keep forming. She looked at her closet again as she peeked through the shirts. She was not sure why she was putting so much effort into the look. Maybe it had to do with after the Yule festival.
Her fingers danced along her bare stomach as thoughts from that night swirled in her head. She had plenty of lovers, just something about Natsumi made her forget about her crush. It felt like she had been chasing after the wrong woman. Or maybe, she was just jumping forward. Her options would still be left open tough she doubted anything would come from waiting for something that would not happen.
She pulled out a yellow tank top as she changed her shirt. She pulled over a loose pale blue sweater as it blended nicely with her black pants. She pulled her hair back into the messy ponytail as she did one last twirl in front of the mirror.
She took in a deep breath as she approached Natsumi's room. She tussled her hair one last time as she knocked on the door. She swallowed as she pushed past the butterflies in stomach. It amused her that they were worst than when she was fighting the enemy.

Natsumi swung the door open with great speed and excitement....her eyes full of hearts as she saw the lovely lady before. She softly courtsied and stepped to the side. "P...please...do come in Neri-chan..."
She allowed the angel of beauty to enter before closing the door lightly before her. Natsumi was worried that Neri might hear the deafening pounding of her heart as she followed the girl to the small table in the centre of her room. However, she reassured herself with the fact that the pounding of those drums had acted many many times in the presence of the lovely girl, and yet she had not seemed to have noticed them.
She offered the girl some tea...and some cookies, before sitting down shyly herself. She then asked sheepishly.
"Ne..Neri-chan....I...wrote you a song. Could I...play it for you, now?"

Neri smiled at Natsumi as the door open. She could only guess that Natsumi was as nervous as she was. It made her feel a little better. She often thought that the night after the party was mainly due to the alcohol involved. There have been a few times through out her watches in which her mind would drift off to it.
She smiled as she sat down at the table. It was sweet with how the girl was taking care with the spread. Sweet treats were usually not her thing however she would take one. She nodded her head at the offer of tea. It was nice to have something warm to drink.
"I would love if you played the song. I can't promise not to harmonize with you." She gave the girl a little wink.

Natsumi smiled warmly at Neri... falling more in love with her every second they were together. She then brought out an old rustic acoustic guitar, and took a moment to quickly tune the strings one by one, listening carefully as she plucked each one, to ensure they were fully in tune. She then took a deep breath and began...

Neri took a sip of tea as Natsumi started to play her song. She swayed to the beat as a hum came forth. She found the harmony of the song. She closed her eyes as she would sing along with some of the words. She wished that she could have had her own instrument to play.
Once the song was done, she clapped her hands. "It was wonderful. I loved it. We should make music together some time. It has been a long time since I have picked one up. Mother always had be practicing. Where did you learn to play?"

Natsumi was glad that Neri enjoyed the song, after all she had written it for her. She sat beside her....and after a moment said, "I guess I just kinda taught myself...Something to do when I wasn't training or other wise...." She looked at Neri's sweet face and smiled lovingly. "Ever thought about what our lives will be like when we're done with fighting....What you would like to do?"
She stopped talking then, and waited for Neri's response...even the sound of her voice was lovely to Natsumi.

Neri felt her cheeks warm for a moment as Natsumi wrote a song for her. It was something that no one had truly done. As the other girl sat beside her, she gently gripped the hand as she smiled warmly. She was impressed with how well the played for being self taught. She had various instructors over the years to help her hone her craft.
"Well if you need more formal training, I would be happy to help. Mother made me take lessons as I had her talent for music."
She tilted her head to the side with the question. It was something she hardly every thought about any more. Her life was here and there was nothing she could do about it. The future mattered little to her if they lived through what was happening now.
"Honestly, I don't know. I didn't have a plan before our lives took a turn for the worst, I guess I don't have a plan for when all of this is over. I just wanna make it out alive, you know." Her body fully turned to face Natsumi, "What is your plan when all of this is done?"
