Chi smiled as she saw her friend make it on board. She closed the door as she checked the gauges again. She knew the twins would take off quickly. She sighed as they needed to learn to slow down. She kept a smile on to hopefully mask how unhappy she was or the tiredness.
"Well glad you made it back, Sakuya. Ghosting was a success, I take it?"
She widened her eyes as she sat up a bit straighter. She heard the comment by the captain. She might have forgotten to give them all of that information. She was half asleep also they didn't ask more about the ship they were flying. Most of the fun is learning about it.
She got up as she straighten her clothes. She leaned over the center console as she flicked a switch right above William. "Here. And maybe after I have gotten some sleep, we can talk about all the features she has. Honestly if you two stopped and actually listened to the order, I would have gone over all of this, plus a trick or two when it comes to the Black Swan."
She realized that it came out a little more snappy than she meant to. "Sorry, I'm not upset with you both. Just tired....."
She walked over as the lift was a high pitched whine. She made a mental note to look over the electrical systems as well as check other areas for ware and tear. It made no sense for one of the most reliable machines to suddenly become less than stellar. It was not going to be on her watch. She stood at the entrance as she waited for the captain to board.

Hayate recoiled. Chisana was audibly pissed. Well, she would just have to be pissed. Not every situation had time to read the manual before takeoff. Chisana should have learned that by now.
Besides, Hayate and William were continuing the family tradition. Their mother was famous (or infamous) for flying by the seat of her pants. Even the influence of Michiru could not eliminate that trait entirely. It was always good for a laugh when Haruka told Hayate and William to slow down and avoid taking so many risks.
"OK, activating Grav Lift now. The captain should be with us soon." Hayate deadpanned. She kept her irritation at Chisana to herself. The pink-haired girl was a master of passive-aggressive combat. But she did not reckon on what would happen when she crossed a Tenoh.

Jacob stepped into the light and was lifted into the belly of the ship. He smiled as he nudged himself forward to get out of the light and set his boots down on the deck and and then hit the panel to shut off the gravity lift and closed the door he had come up through. He walked forward and placed a hand on Hayate's shoulder.
"Alright Flight Officer let's punch it and get our goods. I don't want to wait on the Tang's hospitality to expire. They may have a surprise waiting for us there. After all they are criminals and tend to like the stuff they have and want to keep it. Plus we are going to take extra for the trouble they gave us. Let's roll."
He looked at Chi and could see how tired she was and that meds weren't going to be all the much help after this mission. They would have earned their rest and that meant a good amount of time off for all of them. He would plan the next operation and they could have some down time. He didn't want them having to much because that is how accidents happened like the galley this morning. Well what was done was done and no turning back.
"William what is the stealth status? It's that gauge at the upper right there."
He pointed to the gauge and smiled because the best part was teaching them about this craft. He didn't mind teaching them at all. It would one day be their responsibility to take care of this thing as he knew that he may not be around to help them.

Chi rolled her eyes while she waited for the captain. The twins clearly had a listening problem as she had already flipped the switched. She closed her eyes as a sigh escaped her lips. Being around people, things were making her more edgy than normal. Things from this morning didn't help either as she knew everyone's feelings. She could have said it nicer if the meds were not fading.
She took her seat after the captain boarded. She rolled her neck as she rotated her eyes between wide and blinking. It was a trick that was taught to her. She avoided looking at the twins, letting the captain do the teaching. She bit the inside of her lip as she kept an eye on all the gauges.

William clenched his teeth. He had just about had enough of Chisana's attitude. She had been coddled way too much by Jacob and Setsuna. Just because she was one of the heirs apparent to Neo-Queen Serenity II did not give her a blank check to be so rude. So what if the Black Swan was "her" ship?
Maybe he should stick Chisana in his custom starfighter and give her grief every time she forgot something. Maybe he should get snippy over every misunderstanding. He wondered how she would like being on the receiving end of unneeded attitude. If William did not fear Marconi and Mizuki so much, he was tempted to give her a taste of her own medicine.
It was true that the Tenohs flew by the seat of their pants. He could not deny that. He should learn to be more responsible. But Chisana should learn that not everything could be planned out far in advance. Sometimes one had to roll with the punches.
He forgot about the entitled pink-haired crew member and focused on the captain.
"The stealth gauge, huh? Let's see." William commented while taking a glance at the bar. It was green. Everything was good. "We're pretty much ghosts at this point. Unless we drop a disco ball and shoot off some fireworks while painting the ship neon orange, we've got this. Still, we don't want to hang around. Hayate, we'd better get out of here." William seconded the captain's motion.

"OK, preparing to leave now." Hayate stated as she began what was needed to take the ship into orbit. She hit the buttons and did all the checks to make sure that no one got spaced or a critical system died on them. Everything was good. The ship lurched forward and upward. There were no signs of pursuit.
They passed through the atmosphere and into outer space. Still no signs of pursuit. Hayate left the stealth system on a while longer to avoid any patrol ships that "just so happened" to pass by on their way out. Once no ships were detected and they were well clear of Tang space, Hayate relaxed a little.
"All right, we're clear. It should be a cakewalk from here." Hayate commented. All systems were still in working condition. No one had been launched into space. The air was still breathable. All in all it was a good day.
"So, back to base?" Hayate absentmindedly asked.
