Hello and Welcome to an RP that centers around a possible future in which Death Phantom comes back. The children of the senshi have been saved, leaving on the run while being trained in the military life style. Life is hard so far from home as everything they had ever known utterly destroyed. Unfortunately, none of their parents were able to pass along their powers due to the sudden attack and execution.
Please read Beginning and End of Neo Silver Millennium for more detailed information.
Here is a list of a few guidelines to follow while making characters as well as interacting with other players. Please read Ten Commandments of Posting to help understand the expectations while posting.
1. For each character that a player would like to make, please have a separate accounts under the master login. It will be recognized by the email address and user name you use when you first since up. For instance, a person can use the a user name such as Billy with the email of user@aol.com can have several different character profiles under that one.
2. Try and keep most of your posts to a PG-13 rating. If the scene gets extremely violent or sexual, please make a note of it in the title for others. Sexual relationships are allowed however they should not be the sole focus of the game. Please keep in mind that the minimum age for more explicit relationship is 16. If any posted content exceeds the rating of PG-13, it needs to be notated in the subject heading of each post, as well as the top of each posted.
3. Two character limit for new members. We limit two to start out so new members are not overwhelmed, and posting stays active. Even if you can handle more than two characters in other groups, this is a new storyline, so it can be overwhelming at first. If you are handling two characters just fine and want to take more, we will honor your request.
4. If you cannot handle the extra characters (if posting is starting to dwindle or there is a lack of posting) we will kindly ask you to drop the extra
characters. (The ones you are the least fond off or the ones you are lacking the desire to post for.)
5. No God-modding. You know the type: the ones that can fly, are invincible, can throw fireballs, are invincible, amazing with a gun, jumping around like they are in some kind of John Woo movie, are invincible, are a big shot, are invincible, loved by all the ladies, are invincible, and all the World Leaders bow at his feet. Oh, and did I mention he’s invincible? God characters suck. They offer no challenge, no adventure, nothing beyond the chance to say "I won." We all know this isn’t a game to win or lose.
6. Make your writing count. If you’re at a loss of what to write, describe your character’s surroundings, how they’re feeling, etc. If you need advice, ask your Mods. Also, Ensure that the post makes sense. If you need to ask a question, do so in an OOC (Out of Character format)
7. Stay true to your character. What is written in the profile is to be followed. Suddenly giving your character a completely different personality or abilities goes against what you spent so much time creating AND leads to confusion for other players. If you would like to make changes, ask a Mod.
8. Thou shalt not kill other characters or decide what damage they suffer.
You cannot decide what happens to another character. This applies especially to combat. If engaged in a straightforward fight, your opponents may dodge. If you are sneaking up behind someone, leave your post hanging at your attack rather than assuming the outcome.
9. Take turns posting. Nothing is more irritating than someone asking repeatedly for you to post. Remember, people have lives; they may have work to do or family to be with. Just be patient. If they haven’t posted in say a week, politely get in touch with them somehow and remind them of the game. Be polite and don’t be too pushy. Manners cost nothing. Never forget, though, that the nature of play-by-post allows it to be played at a slower and more leisurely pace than a tabletop game.
10. Use proper grammar and spelling. Please, no text language.
11. No playing another player’s character without expressed permission.
12. The Children of the Senshi can be either gender. Currently they are unable to transform, just have military training. When creating a child of the Senshi, please keep in mind that they witness the death of their parents as well as the rest of the whole world around them. This would have affected them greater the older they are.
13. With each character, please make sure that each character has a set of strengths and weaknesses. This is to prevent characters from being overpowered.
14. Respect everyone. If you have a problem with something another player has said or done, please contact the owner(s) and / or moderators of list through email.
15. Be active and post at least twice a month.
16. Characters must be approved prior to posting. Plain and simple, to bring a character in game, the appropriate character profile must be filled out from our files section and then uploaded to the “Pending Characters” folder. The owners and moderators will then review it. We may have to contact you to make revisions before approval. This is to make sure each character will fit into our storyline and plots.
If you have a character in mind that does not work with one of our blank character files, please contact us to let us know and we can see what we can work out.
17. Non Player Characters (NPC’S): NPC’s are characters that can be created at any given time by members, moderators, and owners to help the game move freely and to keep posting active.
NPC’s can also be controlled by anyone at any given time. (For Example: I create a waitress in the tea shop and have it interact with Haruka,
who is involved in the same thread with Michiru. When Michiru responds to Haruka’s thread, she may take control of the waitress and use her in her post.)
If an NPC will be recurring in game in multiple scenes and multiple posting threads, an NPC profile must be filled out. The reason being the NPC
is turning from a minor NPC to a more major NPC. (Example: A simple tea waitress / waiter is turning in to a Naru or Umino.)
If at any given time a member is growing attached to the NPC and would like to take them on as a full time character, then a full character profile must be filled out.
18. Character relationships by blood. Plain and simple, if you want a character to be related to a previous player’s character in game, you MUST first have the approval by the character’s player and by the owner(s) and moderator(s).
19. Disciplinary Action
First is a warning through email. Second will be some type of probation where posting is moderated.Third is a suspension for a period of time. Lastly, if everything we have tried just doesn’t resolve the problem at hand, the last action is Banishment from the game.
On a side note, we want to emphasize that we strongly, communication. And we try everything in our power to resolve everything when we give out our first warning so we don’t have to take anything to the second step. As I said before, through communication we can resolve
miscommunication. Remember Rule number one, the purpose of this game is to have FUN!
20. Moderated Posting.New members are automatically moderated for posting. So please don’t be alarmed if you don’t see your post posted right away, for a moderator or owner has to approve it before it is posted. This is just a safety measure to avoid spamming. Once spamming is not an issue, your status will be changed so you can post freely, which is usually within the first 24 hours of you sending
your first post in game. (Your first OOC post in game saying hello, which character you want, or something along that nature.)
WE ARE ALWAYS ACCEPTING NEW IDEAS, THOUGHTS, AND OPINIONS
This pertains to our rules, as well as other things in game, like
character development, plots, scenes, etc.
If you have an idea and feel it would be great for our group, please
drop us an email so we can talk about it.
If after reading these rules you still have questions, please please please do
not hesitate to ask the owner(s) or moderator(s).
Sincerely,
