Hayate watched William clean up while waiting for the next interesting event to take place. She did not have long to wait. Annika appeared and told them that the captain needed them to prepare his ship.

"Right behind you, Bill!" Hayate called out. She started out of the galley when she noticed Felix. He was having a heated conversation with a wall. Had he gone off the deep end? Maybe he had spent too much time in space.

Oh well. That was someone else's problem right now. Hayate was a pilot, scout, and mechanic, not a therapist.

"We're not getting paid to stand around? We're not getting paid AT ALL!" Hayate retorted as she raced past him and out of the galley.

The queen let her son throw anger her way. She had always believed her children were smart to figure out messages all on their own. At times, she felt that her son let his emotions get the better of him, like now. What he didn't know is that in a way she treated her children very much the same. Each had the training that would make them strong.

"For that answer, you know whom to talk to. Pride only gets one so far in this world."

With that, she left him to his thoughts.

Felix listened to Queen Mars. Normally the late queen was fond of speaking in a cryptic manner. However, this time Felix easily deciphered her meaning. She wanted him to talk to Sakuya.

What good would that do? Sakuya had better versions of all his powers plus the exclusive ability to glimpse into the future. What could she tell him that would help?

Train harder? Where? Mars was currently occupied by the enemy.

Ask Sakuya for help? Felix was reluctant. Would Sakuya willingly give up her superiority to bring him up to equality?

It was obvious that he had to talk to her. But was now really the best time? Not at all.

Felix was still emotionally charged. There was no way the conversation would be a calm one right now. It was best to wait until later. Besides, Sakuya was likely still emotionally charged from the fight with Freya.
