Celebrating Yuletide (Tag the Captain and crew)

[Mizuki Tsukino]

Mizuki was surprised when both Neri and Ada came in. The surprises would never end. This must have been a banner day. When Ada wasn't busy avoiding people in her lab she was usually treating them for some injury. Neri when she wasn't busy ignoring people by listening to interstellar comm traffic she was usually not seen. This must have beckoned them from their cages and the promise of booze and food was a strong draw. She shouldn't judge though after all they were just that version of your average, everyday, fucked up, and space age family. Well more like an armed and highly lethal family that had beef with the galaxy at large. She smiled at thought of their family and how they behaved was just their quirks as a family in the living situation.

She turned as she saw Jacob and Setsuna rise and he bring her back. Ah his silver tongue struck again. She didn't think it was all her issue anymore with the way he spoke to her. He didn't have the best record with her and he could amend how he spoke to her. She would never voice those arguments but they were there. The reality of it was Setsuna was Sailor Pluto. The only person with experience as a Senshi and that meant if they ever manifested their Senshi abilities she was the only one who could train them properly on their use. The universe had a funny way of making you need someone when you didn't want them around.

"Oh not quarters Freya. That game is fun but people who have no dexterity don't fare to well. Alright let's see what you have for rules for this fun little game of who is going to get the drunkest of them all."

She looked over at Ryuusei as she took some more of her drink and gave him a gentle nudge.

"Come on let's get this going. Drink up we have so much more fun tonight."

She gentle pointed to the mistletoe and made this face.

"If you can get me under one of the sprigs hanging in this Galley I will kiss you like you've never been kissed before which I'm sure is easy."

She was feeling the effects of the alcohol and well she welcomed it. She hadn't ever been one to drink like this. Even when she was in palace and offered that awful wine that Chi enjoyed taking bottles of it back to their adjoined rooms. She would of course drink it with her sister but she didn't like the sweetness but with her sister it was always fun as they talked. She missed that most of all. They were always so busy these days that they didn't get to talk much anymore. She would have to change that.

[Neri Kaioh]

Neri listened as she heard talk of a drinking game. She chuckled as she grabbed a glass of amber liquid. She swirled the glass a bit as she watched the captain with the Ice Bitch. She snorted as she could care less with what was happening. To her, it was a lover's quarrel as it meant nothing. They would not last a week if they were actually a couple. The captain would probably murder her. She hated that woman for everything that has happened to them. It was often that she had dark thoughts with various misfortunes. It made her current existence more bearable.

She sat next to Chi as she slung an arm over the back of the chair. She took a sip of her drink as she heard Mizuki talk to the new guy. She could easily tell that they had been drinking for a bit. It was time to play catch up. She was jealous as she wanted to be the one to kiss the hard ass princess. It would be fairly easy to get her under the mistletoe. Maybe she might have a chance.....

Or she could just enjoy the party. After all, there was plenty of time for all of that later. She had a devious smile on her face as she chimed in.

"Does anyone have a pack of cards? I know a simple game that will get us nice and wasted. I assume that is what we are going for."

[Chisana Usagi]

Chi smiled as Neri sat next to her. The teal haired woman was fairly nice, even though she was a bit of a badass like her sister. She sat a little straighter as she glanced to the captain and her aunt. They were dancing?! It was a strange sight to see. It must be the season. She giggled as she turned her attention back to the conversation at hand.

"Happy Yule, Neri! I'm happy you joined us. It seems like it has been forever since we all got to just relax like this."

She sipped her wine as everyone seemed to be here indulging. She had a feeling that Natsumi would be close behind. They were one big happy family.

"Maybe a round and then presents? I mean I don't want to be too drunk not to enjoy what Santa brought."

Yes it was childish and she knew better. It was the magic of the season. She would pretend for now. It made her happy to say the least.

[Ryuusei Fuushino]

As he hadn't been downing drinks like mad, Ryuusei was still very much sober when Mizuki issued her challenge. On the surface, he seemed to not react to it, instead giving a wave fallowed by a "Yo!" to Neri as she joined them. His gaze seemed to linger a bit on Ada....Only because he'd never met the woman face-to-face before. The only time he recalled her being mentioned was on the Holodeck; which he nearly forgot about. (Guess she really DOES just live in the lab.)

"hey, nice to meet ya."

After the greeting, he aknowledged Mizuki's first offer to 'drink up'....by taking both his and her glasses! ...Spilling a bit onto her dress. "Oops..." Before walking away from the table.

[Felix Hino]

After being unexpectedly embraced by Freya, Felix quit blushing enough to observe his surroundings. Sakuya was interested in William, who readily reciprocated. Ryuusei "accidentally" spilled his drink on Mizuki. Ada was being... well, Ada. Life on the station was normal.

Except for the fact it was "Yule", it was no different. Back to his sister... what did she see in William? He was a slacker with punctuality issues. He also had bad taste in movies. His sister Hayate was more interesting than he was.

Felix grabbed a glass of vodka and took a sip. It was not bad, but he liked sake better. Speaking of that drink... where was it? Hayate was standing near it. If he did not hurry, it would be gone.

"I'll be right back, Freya." Felix said before getting up and going for the sake before it was drained by the female Tenoh.

[Tomoe Natsumi]

A weird wooshing sound was heard slightly outside of the room where the gathering was taking place...and a few moments later a very familiar girl with long wavy brown hair came walking in a long dark jack,with a black and purple sweaters, skirt and leggings ensemble... Around her neck was a short scarf around her neck. No one really knew why this girl insisted on wearing a scarf, but it seemed to be something that clung with her.

She walked into the room, and looked around. "Well... it's a party. And not even one dance?" She smirks. "Let's hope I can change that before the night's out."

She walked up to her favourite cousin and smiled "Hello Chi. How's the party been so far? Missed me yet?" She gave a warm grin, hoping to get a smile out of the girl.

[Chisana Usagi]

Chi's face lit up as Natsumi had finally arrived! She returned the warm smile as she hugged her cousin, tightly. It was nice to have some else who was okay was with her avoiding fighting when she could. It truly did feel like a party now that everyone was here. She let go as she took a step back. Her eyes shown brightly as she looked around. This was her family even if she was a bit of an outcast with her way of thinking.

"Of course, I missed you! Now it is a real party."

A giggle left her lips as bounced on her toes. She smiled over at Neri as her face fell slightly, "Sorry to bounce up quick. It feels so rare for all of us to be in this relaxed setting."

She turned her attention back to Natsumi as her smile never faded. "There is plenty of food and drink to be had. I think they went all out for this."

[Mizuki Tsukino]

Mizuki was doing something very rare and odd for her. It was only seen in pictures. She was smiling and actually enjoying herself. It was nice to relax and if the challenge she had issued to Ryuusei was taken up she would reward his efforts for trying. A small Yule kiss wouldn't kill her. It wasn't like the guy was bad looking or fat. He was the opposite and after his training exercise today he was field qualified. She was about to urge him on again when he spilled a drink on her dress top. What the hell was he doing?!? That guy was going to get a piece of her mind. She rose with the full intention of grabbing him and throwing him back into his chair but stopped. Wait a minute he did that a little to smoothly...he was trying to get her to chase him. That was a good move but time for him to learn something else. She rose quickly and took the drinks from him, throwing hers back, and then taking him to the area that Setsuna and Jacob were dancing in. She didn't even ask him she just quickly fell into the rhythm of the music, it was a slow one thankfully, and waited until he realized it wouldn't be that easy he had to work for this.

"Are you going to lead or are you going to stand there looking confused? It isn't hard to dance just follow the music and treat my waist like the equator. Stay north of it and I won't break your hand for sailing to far to the south."

She smiled at him and waved at Chi. Her smile was bigger because she actually liked to dance and not the deadly one they participated in to get supplies or to ruin the Death Corps day. This was great!

[Freya Aino]

Freya liked how Chi thought and presents would be nice. She had time and replicated a few things for everyone. The best one was what she had done for Ryuusei. That was a funny one. The thing she had for Felix though was something you didn't find any longer. It had been given to her and she was supposed to give it someone she cared about and she had that person.

"That is a wonderful idea Chi but lets do at least three rounds. That way we will all be nice and ready for presents."

She leaned back when Ryuusei spilled a drink on Mizuki fully expecting a reaction and when she got up, chased him down, and slammed back one of the drinks he was carrying that surprised her. Freya's eyes widened to shock when she pulled him out to dance with her. The universe had truly gone mad. She was just not sure what was going on. Felix rose and saying he'd be right back.

"Alright I'll save your seat."

She rose at the the entrance of Natsumi and decided hugs were needed for everyone now that they were all here. She started with Chi and then worked her way around to eveyone. She new Ada made a face but didn't stop and finished with Natsumi. She was happy and wasn't all that drunk. She drank regularly, well not as regularly as someone, but enough that a few drinks wouldn't make her stupid.

"Happy Yule everyone!"

She was high spirits tonight.

[Hayate Tenoh]

Hayate was manning the sake station when Felix walked up in a hurry. She was interested. Felix, drinking alcohol? She had him pegged as a teetotaler. Oh well. Hayate took another drink.

She had just set down her glass when Freya hugged her. That was unexpected. The Christmas spirit was flowing as freely as the alcohol.

"Happy Yule Freya!" Hayate replied.

[William Tenoh]

It was strange. The more time William spent around Sakuya, the less he resented Felix for getting with Freya. He could almost care less now. Almost.

He still failed to understand how Felix could get Freya. It probably had nothing to do with his dour personality. It must have been something else. Right now William did not care. He had Sakuya.

It was funny how that worked. He was interested in the sister of his "rival" and she was interested in him. He would not argue with it. Stranger friendships had formed.

"Happy Yule, Freya!" William said after being hugged by Freya. He had to avoid alienating Sakuya by being too enthusiastic about being hugged by Freya. He nonchalantly went and got another glass of whiskey.

[Sakuya]

Sakuya waved happily to Natsumi “Happy Yule!” She squealed to the late party comer. She decided in her buzzed state to walk over to Natsumi and give the girl a tight squeeze “You’re going to have so much fun!” She giggled “And you look amazing.” She smiled sweetly before looking to Freya and Felix.

Freya and Felix. Their names both started with the letter F. It sounded like a relationship by mother goose or something. She found it vomit worthy, however, Freya seemed good for him. After the little brawl they’d had, Freya was cool in her book. Anything that made Felix happier and less broody was better. She just wished he wouldn’t hate her so much. After Freya hugged her, she had an idea...

With a shrug, she decided to do something out of character. She wanted to hug her brother, damn it.

Skipping past Chi, she gave a smile before tapping Felix on the shoulder “H-Happy Yule, Felix!” She smiled warmly as she wrapped her arms around him, giving him a nervous, gentle hug. Closing her eyes, she hoped he wouldn’t kill her..

[Neri Kaioh]

Neri smiled at Chi, the pink haired girl had a point. She took a large swig of her drink right before Freya gave her a hug. Damn that woman was in a happy mood. She let out a rare smile as she hugged back. The cheer of this place felt good as she was started to catch the fever. It was not something she had experienced in quite some time.

She got up from her seat as she chugged the rest of her drink. She hugged Natsumi and Chi at the same time as she ruffled their hair. They, in a sense, were like little sisters to her. She was allowed to relax for just one night.

She rolled her eyes on the sad attempted by Ryuusei. He might need a lesson or two on women. It was a pathetic attempt which any middle schooler would do. She was slightly surprised when Mizuki chose to dance with him. If there was no move made, she would make it herself. There was a challenge in which she would win.

"Ah, Chi, no harm done. You have made an excellent point! Shall we all have a round for toasting? Than we can all open those presents. Maybe Old Saint Nick brought us something good."

She walked over to the drink station, really not into giving too many people a hug. She would have to be pretty tipsy for that. Chi and Natsumi were the rare exceptions. She gathered the glasses as she poured enough for everyone, even the Ice Bitch. She went around as she handed out glasses for everyone. It was going to be a fun night.

"What shall we toast to?"

[Ryuusei Fuushino]

Ryuusei wasn't facing the table, instead he looking back through the corner of his eye. He smiled to himself when his plan worked; she was out of her chair and coming for him! (Ehhh, not quite as planned but still kinda hoooooo...) Her demeanor softened yet she STILL drug him across the room to the dance floor...possibly a worse place than back at the table; given who already occupied it and the hate-boner they had for each other.

Though already in-step with the music, she 'asked' him to lead. In response, Ryuusei took her right hand and placed his left on her shoulder; then in a neutral tone, requested. "It's my first time, please be gentle." And began to move with the music.

While there, mere feet away from the Command Staff who could, in the moment, decide to REALLY get down then kill each other...possibly in not that order; Ryuusei noticed Mizuki's demeanor soften even more. That was quite the smile she gave him, like she was really happy right now. "Can't begin to tell ya how cute you lok right now."

[Ada Mizuno]

Ada paid attention as the daughter of Tomoe Hotaru came in. Natsumi looked very little like her mother. The most prominent difference was Natsumi's hair, but other difference included her height and her eye shape.

Ada did not have any room to throw stones. She too had superficial similarities to her mother, but they were only superficial. Ada was somewhat taller and had black hair in a different hairstyle. Ami drank caffeine in limited quantities, but Ada practically lived on the stuff.

"Hello Natsumi." Ada greeted the Tomoe. It had been awhile since she had last seen the Princess of Saturn. Then again, Ada practically lived in the lab. She hardly got out anymore. Seconds later she was embraced by Freya. That was unexpected.

"Happy Yule to you too, Freya." Ada calmly said to the Princess of Venus. Today was not a day to hold a grudge. Felix Hino would need to learn that lesson, as did William Tenoh.
