Celebrating Yuletide (Tag the Captain and crew)

[Tomoe Natsumi]

Natsumi smiled and happily returned the warmest greeting to Chi. She also returned the hugs from the various ladies and all the greetings which were sent her way. After all, if everyone was jolly, wasn't that the best thing to hope for.

Ah...if only it could always stay this way. Some may have called it silly, but she called it life.

She accepted the drink she was offered, and took a small sip before raising her glass, "A toast to all of us...we may not be in blood, but in kinship..we're the dearest of family. I'd say God bless us..every one of us..." but I don't have a pair of crutches..." She joked. "Soo...she said with a grin. "Who's gonna lead us into a song eh?" She looked around at the various people, with a grin.

[Chisana Usagi]

The little bits of alcohol that Chi had was slowly starting to go to her head. She was exhausted however it was nice to see everyone. She took her glass from Neri with a smile and a giggle. She would force herself to last until she passed out.

Her eyes turned to Natsumi as she made her toast. Her smile widen as what child did not know the classic Dickens tale. She giggled as she called out, "Here, here Tiny Tim!" She took a sip which was almost spat out again. Singing? Who said anything about singing? She shook her head as she figured someone else could. Maybe her sister would go for it. "I vote for Mizuki! She has one of the best voices! I bet Neri would help as well!"

[Neri Kaioh]

Neri had given a wink to Chi as she passed her glass. She rolled her eyes as Ryuusei was trying to dance with Mizuki. It was strange and slow. The boy needed a lesson or two to help him along. She would give him directions as she danced, she was more of a tell someone. There was a good chance that mistletoe would be involved.

She was about to set her glass down when Natsumi made her toast. She shook her head at the little as Chi called out her name. There was a different plan that was forming, which might just work.

She took a sip as she looked at her squad captain. Liquid courage never hurt someone. She set her glass down as she walked right up to the dancing couple. She tapped Ryuusei on the shoulder as a playful smile formed on her lips.

"Mind if I steal the dance away from you two? We have been volunteered by little Chi to sing a song. I figured something short and sweet like Jingle Bells. Is that agreeable, Mizuki?"

[Ryuusei Fuushino]

He felt the tap on his shoulder, yet didn't turn to the Neptunian, instead just starred out of the corner of one eye. "Oh she can sing just fine from right here." Then gave a half-smirk. "But you're needed for the chorus, so you might want to mosey on back." All while keeping in rhythm.

[Hayate Tenoh]

Hayate was so busy watching William and Sakuya interact that she had forgotten all about the toast. And she thought that William was an airhead. She was not too far behind.

"I can drink to that, Natsumi." Hayate calmly stated before taking a swig.

[Alexandra Kino]

Alex blinked. Where on Terra did all these people come from? There were the Tenohs, Ada Mizuno, Neri Kaioh, Natsumi Tomoe, and more. She must have really spaced out. That was nothing new. She caught Natsumi's toast just in time... she grabbed a glass of sake from the table.

"I'll drink to that!" Alex declared.

[Freya Aino]

Freya could only say one thing for herself tonight, that she had been drinking and now she was getting toward comfortably numb. That was fine by her and she didn't mind at all that feeling. It wasn't like when she and Felix sat up talking and just drinking. Those nights were different and well filled the kind of fun that only tow people could have together. She smiled to herself and when Natsumi gave her toast she raised her glass and called back directly after Chi.

"We are family and great toast!"

She was being loud and didn't care in the least. Oh no! Chi just didn't single her sister and Neri out to sing. That was excellent. She might as well just head on over and cut in on the dance. Felix was busy being hug assaulted by his sister. Neri was getting Mizuki to go and sing which left the poor guy Ryuusei to her tender mercies. She didn't waste any time getting over to him and cutting in.

"Hey there! Why don't you show me your dance moves and I'll be gentle."

She laughed as she took his hands and placed them properly on her body.

"I think this is going to be fun."

[Mizuki Tsukino]

Mizuki was rather impressed by the way Ryuusei could keep in rhythm with the music. He did still owe her for spilling his drink on her but the more she thought about it the more she realized that might be something he did on purpose to get her out of the seat. She marveled at the way he went about it and then stopped when she saw Neri walk up. She didn't miss the toast or the fact that her sister had gave away one of her secrets. The one she hated to share and the way her mother and grandmother always did this to her. Here was her sister continuing the annoying tradition at the holidays.

"Well I'll make it quick."

She she stepped away she saw Freya take over and she let out a giggle.That was going to be interesting to see if Ryuusei could deal with the tall blonde. That would be fun. She headed over to her sister with Neri. When she got to in front of her sister she smiled at her and gave her a hug.

"You know I hate this right but it is the holiday and I will for you."

She released the hug and looked at Neri. She wondered what she had on her mind.

"What are singing dear sister?"

[Chisana Usagi]

Chi giggled slightly as her plan had worked. She hugged her sister back as she gave her a peck on the cheek. Her state of being was really making her slightly more bold. Maybe not enough to have someone join her in bed. She gave a tiny shudder at that thought. She felt way too close to everyone for something like that to happen.

"I know. What can I say other than I have some very loose lips right now." She gave a wink to her sister.

She stepped away hoping that she would not be roped into something as well. She would be rather out of tune at the moment. It would be awful for anyone to hear. She shrugged as she looked between the to. She could have sworn there was a strange glint in her eye for just a moment.

[Neri Kaioh]

Neri almost smacked the smirk off his face. Her eyes narrowed as she let out a little growl. She took in a sharp breath for a reply when he was whisked away by Freya. Thank the gods for small miracles. She was most likely about to ruin the party. It would have been bad.

She stepped off the dance floor, narrowly missing the captain and the ice bitch. She realized that more alcohol would be needed to finish this night on a high note. She downed half of her glass as Mizuki was discussing a possible song. Their poor squad leader might get some sort of surprise at the end.

She cleared her throat as an arm gently wrapped around Mizuki's shoulders. She lead her to a better part of the room for better acoustics. She smiled as she thought of something fun. "We can do either Jingle Bells or I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause. We can get this done quick. Who can ever say no to Chi?"

[Ada Mizuno]

Ada listened to what was going on and groaned softly... Chisana wanted to sing. Not singing Christmas carols. No. Not that. Dear Charles Babbage, why?

The bespectacled girl really needed a drink now. Or several. Hell, she would grab a bottle of whiskey. And that was exactly what she did. She bolted up and strolled for the whiskey.

She snatched it from the table William was wooing Sakuya at and chugged it. Sweet, sweet booze. It was a little-known fact that Dark Echoes ran off of alcohol as much as it did electricity.

"Come on Jack, set me free." Ada whispered a prayer. She hated singalongs with a burning passion. A passion that burned with the fury of a thousand suns. It was time to get numb and retreat to the safety of her lab.

[William Tenoh]

William was in the midst of chatting up Sakuya when it was discovered that Chi wanted to sing Christmas songs. William's face went flat. What. The. Hell.

Really? Christmas songs? His face went from from an expression saying "I'm gonna score!" to one that said "You've gotta be shitting me."

He was about to fortify himself with whiskey when Ada beat him to it. She downed half the bottle with practiced ease. Where did Princess Mercury learn to drink like a pro?

"Hey sister, save some for me." William objected in a low voice as he grabbed the bottle from and downed the other half. He shuddered with anticipation. Once the whiskey worked its inebriating magic he would not have to hear those hokey old songs. Some things should have stayed buried with Old Terra.

William really wanted to go to his room and watch Lunar Lust. Part of him wanted to hang out with Sakuya. She was pretty hot and nothing like Felix, which was a good thing because William liked girls, not guys. Especially not moody guys like Felix... that guy had weapons-grade depression or something. However, he was not sure that she would like sci-fi softcore porn.

[Hayate Tenoh]

Hayate heard that a singalong of Old Terran Christmas carols was imminent. That was not something the blonde could tolerate. She hated them.

"Damn." Hayate whispered. She wanted to join Ada and William in drinking, but the alcohol was beginning to run dry. Why now? Normally the alcohol flowed like water. Strong, intoxicating, inhibition-lowering water that made life aboard a space station in dire need of repair and upgrades a lot more tolerable.

Oh well. It looked like Hayate was going to stay sober. She still would try to avoid the singalong. She hated those things.

"So, William, seen any good cheesy sci-fi movies lately?" Hayate made small talk with her brother.

[Sakuya]

Sakuya took another swig of scotch as the girls debated on which songs they were going to sing. She stood back as her cheeks warmed from the booze. She knew that this would happen.. People were cheerful and happy, as they should be, but Yule always placed a sour taste in her mouth. She missed her parents and could never forgive herself for letting them perish. The girl blamed herself, even though she was just a child when the terror happened. Pressing her lips together, she looked to Felix and gave a soft and friendly smile. She wanted to talk to him, but he was deep into Freya currently, to which she wouldn't dare interrupt.

The raven haired woman simply stepped back as she felt herself grow more isolated. Feeling the flashbacks of her childhood burst in front of her eyes, she refilled her glass quickly and looked forward "I need some air.." she whispered to Chi, quickly as she turned to William and Hayate "As usual, Hayate, you look killer. Have fun!" she smiled sweetly before turning directly to the male Tenoh "I'm going to head out and take a walk. Yule is great and all, but I'm over it now... If you want to get out of here, you're welcome to join." she smirked halfway.

[Tomoe Natsumi]

Natsumi went back towards Chi and patted her on the head. "Hmm..I think you're getting taller. How could you get so tall and now let your big sister know..." She teased her kiddingly.

She looked around. "Now..I've got to ask this... Who decorated this place? And how..."
